Burak Oguz Saguner was born in Australia in 1980 and raised in Istanbul Turkey, where he studied cinema. Returning to Australia in 2003 to further his film studies, Burak graduated from North Sydney Film and Television School in 2004.
He has since worked as a cinematographer on short and independent feature films: The First Concert (2009 New York International Independent Film Festival Official Selection... 2009 Istanbul International Short Film Festival Official Selection...), Triptych, and The Death and Life of John Vaughan (part of Cannes 2009 Short Film Corner); the television documentary Gallipoli in Oceania; and the music video "Jungle Blues" for C.W.
